All friendly's have now been confirmed. Boca have setup by far their toughest pre season schedule to date.

Boca are delighted to announce the signings of Marcin Kosakowski (Currie), Jonny Taylor (Currie), Callum Mortimer (St Vincent’s) and Tomie Cannon (Musselburgh AFC).

As you may be aware we have the opportunity to play a friendly down in England with a team from Liverpool. The date is still to be confirmed but is likely to be the weekend of 18/19^th of September.

This is where the England football team use for their pre match training. It is also where they stay on England duty.

The team we are playing are Academy Sports

For an approximate cost of £60 per player we would get the following:

Hire of pitch

FA referee

Linesman (tbc)

Overnight accommodation (on the estate)

Minibus transport

We will also go out for the night in either Newport or Wolverhampton with our opposition. The initial £60 was not including this though…

Jacko will be leading this excursion with the help of the committee, to make this happen we need you all to dig deep and pay a non refundable deposit of £30 to him before Sunday the 18^th of July.

Thanks to everyone that made the effort to attend on the evening.

Due to the impeding departure of assistant manager Andrew Young, Boca have decided to restructure the current setup.

Boca would like to take this opportunity to thank ‘Youngy’ for all his hard work over the last few seasons and wish him all the best in his travels.

Stewart Barclay who has already been involved in the day to day running of the club will become the new assistant with Mark Scott taking on the role as player coach.

Mark Scott and Greg McGhee will be heavily involved in the day to day duties as well as team selection for the forthcoming season.

Boca were drawn away to St Vincents in the first round of the League Cup. We received bye's in the Association and David Temple cups.

The annual presentation night will take place on Friday 02/07/10, 7:30pm start at the Overtures room in the Playhouse theatre.

Players players of the year, top goalscorer and managements player of the year awards are all on offer.

The season is now complete and yet again, we finished 2nd in the league to Redhall Star. Congratulations on another fine season.

Boca's annual fundraiser on Friday was a massive success. We would like to thank everyone that made the effort to attend, people that sponsored the horses and a special mention to our race sponsors Aitken Scotland Ltd, Learner Car Company, Derek Brown Electrical Services, La P'tite Folie, Obsession and official club sponsors La Favorita.

We intend to invest the money made to secure a new kit for the current season and subsidise better training facilities.
